Reiki

A Reiki treatment is for anyone who needs support in their life process. While Reiki can help alleviate various complaints such as headaches, muscle pain, stress, depression, fatigue, and insomnia, the approach is holistic and therefore not symptom-oriented! The interconnectedness of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person is taken into account. For example, the cause of a headache can be in the intestinal area. Insomnia is often caused by worry. Fatigue and lethargy can result from poor nutrient absorption. This is often due to an unhealthy diet, which can in turn lead to damaged intestinal walls. When the small intestine is not functioning properly, large amounts of waste can remain in the body, resulting in inflamed joints. These physical ailments negatively impact our emotional state and ultimately our mental well-being. Conversely, our beliefs can determine how we function in daily life and ultimately affect our physical health.

In addition to relieving physical symptoms, a Reiki treatment also provides peace, comfort and mental clarity.

A Reiki treatment is given on a treatment table. The practitioner places their hands, without applying pressure, on several spots on the front and back of the client's body. The client lies on the treatment table wearing comfortable clothing. Each hand position lasts 3 to 5 minutes. The entire treatment lasts a maximum of 90 minutes, including a consultation. There is an opportunity to talk both before and after the treatment. Speaking is generally not permitted during the laying on of hands.
